Junior Cycle Maths
2026-2027

Students enrolled on our Junior Cycle grinds may attend live grinds, on a weekly basis, for the duration of the academic year. This will ensure that you are perfectly prepared for your exams in June. There are three timetabled grinds each week and you can attend whichever one of these suits you best, but you may two or three in any given week if you find a topic particularly difficult.

The Junior Cycle year is such an important year as it is your first state examination. John Winters will keep this in mind throughout all of the classes and will focus strongly on exam layout and exam technique at all times.

The teacher, John Winters, has over 30 years experience preparing students for exams. John is best known for his simplified view of mathematics and his ability to get his point across to the student. His core belief is that “Maths is a subject which is practised, not studied…” so he has designed hundreds of questions which will assist students with general practise for the exams.

All classes are LIVE and Interactive. Students are encouraged to ask whatever questions they wish. It is our goal that all students leaving the classes have understood the entirety of the content of the class.

Recordings of material from the entire course will also be able to view when you enrol on this course.

Days & Times

There are THREE timetabled live classes in each week of the course. You may choose whichever class suits you best in any given week.
