Maths Masters is holding free 5 hr revision courses during the October mid-term break.  They take place over the course of one morning so as not to excessively impinge on your midterm break.

These courses will be of particular interest to students who are considering joining Maths Masters for grinds after midterm, but are concerned that they may have missed some classes which have already taken place. The content for the classes in each of these courses matches the topics which have been covered in the grinds since September.

Once you have completed this course you will be ideally placed to decide whether Maths Masters is the right choice for you for grinds in Maths or Physics.

Leaving Cert Maths HL

This course will focus on the vitally important topics of Light, Sound and Waves. These topics are an almost constant presence on the exam, appearing regularly in Section A (Practicals) and Section B (Theory)

During the course we will look closely at the concepts of graphing and, most importantly, how to use your graph to prove a scientific relationship between two variables and also use the graph to evaluate a given quantity.

Junior Cycle Maths HL

Tuesday 31st October
9.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.

The main emphasis of the course will be Algebra, Functions and Graphs which form the backbone of the Junior Cycle exam. Once students master these topics the foundations are laid for a great Junior Cycle.

The most important element of the course is the exam training which John Winters will give. It is so common that students have a good knowledge of material, but do not understand the requirements of the exams in relation to content, layout and structuring their answers.
